Blood moon

Filed under: Text — Tags: — Lilac @ 12:28 am

Of course I’m bleeding, come October’s moon. Symmetry is a needle to the tongue.

You drink from my piercing, blood flooding your lower lip. Happy blood moon. In the morning I’m a crime scene of blood; it falls down my thighs, thick and sticky. My tongue hurts, the blankets are stained with my womb’s blood; oh, happy blood moon, dear brother.
