Aphrodite & Terpsichore

Filed under: Text — Tags: — Lilac @ 8:00 am

One woman in black skirts, one woman in black jeans. We talk in vanilla’d & lavender-salted girltongues until we’re late to the intended party. On to cocktails by the fire, nestled into each other’s sides – is it different with girls, or just with you? I was once dumbstruck at you, with a scamp’s awe of her queen.

There’s a recognition now – we feel and want in similar ways. You’re poly, bisexual, kinky and pagan like me, and devoted to open expression – though we’re in different places with all the above. Your big badass heart dissects everything. You draw out the best in your loved ones, pointing out the rest with a bit of honesty most people won’t dare to. It only stings for the first six years.

This is a first date after six years.
